Extension start or no extension start?

I am a fan of the Rays, loved the we re-signed Snell to a five year contract. The problem is that I have already started my franchise, I am 15 or so games in. Should I do a new franchise with his extension or continue my existing one?

Just turn on commissioner mode and edit his profile to add in the extension. There is even an option on bottom left side of edit to add an extension.

i'd offer him an extension and see if you can get him cheaper in ootp... then, i'd go the comissioner route, if it is important to you.

i try not to be concerned about any transactions after the date my league begins in ootp... it's now a different timeline, so to speak... but, each to their own on that. i only mention because you shouldn't feel obligated to try to match RL results to your league. it would be a tone of work if you don't limit it to just your Nats team, and even then likely cause some issues if you make a trade that the RL Nats do not.. or any other personnell decision that deviates. at some point it will be impossible to mimic what they do.
