Have begun adding cities to assorted fictional nations already in-game. Likely will add many more, as time passes, in time for the 1882 season. Will likely add more nations as well, come to think of it.

I will expand the SIAU into an association, come the first of the year. I will also create the first couple of leagues (conferences) for the new NACSA, but teams and/or leagues (conferences) to be part of the NACSA are yet to be determined. The teams and leagues/conferences in the NACSA will feed into the MLB, while the teams and leagues in the expanded SIAU will continue to feed into the SBC.

I am considering the idea of adding another professional league of some sort for Slaabovia, and putting a reserve roster size limit for the teams in the SBC, and whatever players get dropped from the organizations of the SBC teams, those will likely populate the new league in Slaabovia, at least. Too many players are not getting enough playing time, I think, so this sort of thing is likely.

What I will do is when this new league is created, I think, is to have a shorter than usual inaugural draft. I will likely have to examine many of the players in the inaugural draft pool and delete a certain number of them, probably everyone who is worse than two stars, either overall or potential, in terms of their ratings, I expect.

After that inaugural draft is complete, I will then probably put a limit on how many players the SBC teams can have on their reserve rosters. That should make the players they release free agents, after which I plan to conduct a free agent draft of many players so that the new league and its teams can stock their rosters.

Among the teams that I will likely include in this new Slaabovian league may be certain teams I've already made uniforms for, such as the Wyoming Voyagers, for instance, who will later appear in the Sartagaron Heritage Confederation decades later, either as a new team or still existing from before the creation of that league later on. I am likely to include teams listed as independent teams for the later SHC, but the Sartagaron Heritage Confederation will NOT be the name of this new Slaabovian league, if and when it is created, no matter what season it begins play for.

Independent teams that will be present at least from the foundation of the Sartagaron Heritage Confederation will be the Bouyane Heralds, the New Jersey Eagles, the Turtlewood Turtles, and the Wyoming Voyagers, all based in certain Slaabovian cities located in either of Slaabovia's two territories, Turtleoklania and Wellnitzalgo. If there are any other independent teams in Slaabovia, you will eventually hear about them later on, Lord willing, of course, folks. It may not be for a while, but you will hear about them, if and when possible and all, I'm sure.

I may also add at least one league based either in Canada or Mexico, if not both countries, by no later than the 1886 season, but that is yet to be decided. At the very latest, the first Canadian and/or Mexican league or leagues will likely start circa 1900, more or less.

As for major leagues in North America, the following leagues are likely to start no later than the 1911 or 1916 seasons, once this dynasty advances far enough into the future:

Liberty League
Mexican League

Nippon Pro Baseball may be a possible addition to that list, but that is yet to be determined, in truth. I haven't yet decided that sort of thing well enough, just so you know, folks.

By 1916, there will likely be at least twelve to fifteen, if not at least twenty or so leagues, present in the game, if I'm not too mistaken here. Depending on how many fictional nations there are in my game world here, or worlds, there could be more, if the need arises for there to be, of course, so that enough players have enough places to play in their careers.

Fictional countries that I currently expect to eventually have at least one major league present for in the future for this game world will be as follows;

You mentioned earlier in the thread that you wanted potential colleges to include in your game that would have existed in 1882. I think you could create a structure based on the Ivies (Harvard, Yale, Penn, etc.) and the Land Grant Universities (you can find a full list here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...t_universities. Most of those schools would have existed in the window you're looking at and could give you a good starting point.

How does a conference with Missouri, Minnesota, North Dakota, Minnesota-Duluth, Wisconsin, Iowa, Iowa State, and Kansas sound, at least at first? And Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas, South Carolina, Alabama, and a school from Mississippi? Or one with Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Louisiana State, another Mississippi school, Florida, and Florida State?

Of course those assignments may not be permanent, but might they work for starters, at least, in relation to certain schools? Just curious, that's all. CD out.

Change of plans, I think I will go with the University of South Dakota instead of UMD, at least at first, for one conference in the NACSA, if I can find suitable enough items to use for them. But I will want to have UMD with Minnesota and other schools later, if possible, I'm sure. CD out.

In the process of adding the fictional nation of Granetis to the Cosmic Baseball 001 game world, along with all its states and cities. It won't be a big nation, in terms of population, but hopefully, we'll eventually see players coming from there in the future. That is all for now, I think. CD out.

The fictional nations of Granetis, Enatula, and Cadina have now been added to the applicable game world, with at least half, if not all, of their currently-known cities. It may be some time before players and/or personnel start getting generated from them all, because I have the first two nations currently set to not yet have a baseball program, and the third to poor baseball quality, it seems.

In terms of baseball quality ratings for the fictional nations I've now added to the game, those nations are rated currently as follows:

Granetis and Enatula - Non-existent
Cadina, Centosnia, Egrochedalli, Oglalaland, and Yunibaasaru Kataribe - Poor
Rasoliun and Ruifrapso Sokumi - Fair
Slaabovia - Excellent

If I can't find any useful items to use for South Dakota, I might use South Dakota State instead, or Nebraska, at least at first. Not sure yet what I might call the conference with Minnesota in it, though.

I might create a conference with Michigan, Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan State, Indiana, and three yet-undecided schools in it, and am considering Purdue as a possibility for that conference. Other candidates, I'm not sure about yet.

I might create the Ivy League, at least, as well, but western states may not yet be included a great deal in the NACSA, I think. Still a lot of planning to do here, of course.

As far as fictional nations that will be added, or have already been added, for people/leagues/teams to possibly come from in the future, Granetis and Enatula have either been added or are being added as best as possible, and new locations have been added to a few other fictional nations already in game, or will be. I may add at least one more new fictional nation to the game before the necessary draft pools are announced, but that is yet to be determined.

But I may still ask where certain things are, if I can't find them somehow, on the forums, or may ask for help or advice with certain items I may be working on at any time, such as uniforms or maybe even stadiums, for example, just so you know.

Cadina may be the last fictional nation of mine that I may add before the upcoming draft pools are announced, but that is yet to be determined. Half of its known cities and towns, et cetera, have now been added to the applicable game world, and the other half should be added soon. Cadina's currently-known cities and towns are all added to the applicable game world. I think Cadina will be the last fictional nation I will add this offseason before the next draft pools are announced, if nobody else wants to share/submit/suggest other nations I could and/or should add to it. The game is now up to November 11, 1881 in-game. If anyone wants me to add nations/cities/players/personnel from their worlds to mine, then they should do it soon, before this window closes for the next twelve game months.

I will leave the current submission window open at least until sometime tomorrow night US Central Time, if anyone might be interested here in terms of suggesting/sharing/submitting the relevant items and/or details with me prior to the next draft pools being announced. CD, you asked me to look at your dynasties and give you my opinion... you posted the request on the Graphics Forum, which is not where you should post it... if you want comments on your dynasty here, you should ask for them here.

What I say about your dynasty here really doesn't matter... if you enjoy your dynasty, that is all that matters... the bottom line in reporting your dynasty here is that you get enjoyment from it.

Feedback is wonderful and can be very helpful in writing a dynasty report, but I find that you don't get it very much... at least, that has been my experience the last 15 years here on the Dynasty Forum.

(Please note, my dynasties fall far short of what I like in dynasties... my skills are limited in storylines, drama and humor, which is a severe shortcoming... basically my Islandian Pro Alliance is just a long-running stats dump... ditto for my North Island Recreational League)

I am not an expert on Dynasty writing, but this is what I like in a dynasty:

Regular posting
Good writing and good grammar
Good storyline complete with news that brings the players alive to the readers
Good dialogue with drama and humor
Good format and structure of your league presentation
Good quality graphics... logos, jerseys and caps.
Good quality maps of your country or countries, if it is a fictional world.

As far as your two dynasties, in my opinion they are not well-structured... too many countries... too many teams... your reporting is helter-skelter with no direction... that's why I don't follow your dynasties.

I have no idea of what you are trying to do in your dynasties... you don't seem to have a plan... you just post rambling ideas that never seem to come together or make any sense.

You seem to spend too much time on the Graphics Forum trying to get Logos, Jerseys and Caps done, when you should should be spending time most of your time creating a realistic baseball universe.

My advice is for you to start with a small league, 12 to 16 teams maximum... use teams that have already been created with good graphics... trying to get custom graphics is no longer possible on the OOTP Graphics Forum... no one is doing custom graphics requests anymore... no one is going to do logos and graphics for you... you make too many requests... and they are too complex and too complicated.

You are my friend and I like you... please consider my advice about dynasty leagues.

Keep your dynasty to two leagues at most with 6-8 teams in each.
Keeping it small will give you time to thoroughly cover it and develop it over time... to get to know the teams and the players... to be totally immersed in it.

You have far too many teams in your dynasties to interest me... your world is too complex and too complicated... I think you should simplify your world.

Thank you for your input, and I'll certainly try to keep it in mind. I'm trying to keep things smaller, at least at first. But it's not easy for me at times, as you've no doubt seen.

Eventually, I should have a good-sized game world here, but it will take a while to develop properly, even for potential novel-writing purposes, I'm sure. If I can develop enough of a history for certain leagues, I should have more than enough useful information and usable characters for certain stories. Such as Chogar, for instance. If his career develops well enough, I might even include him as a character in the SRL thread, come to think of it.

I am going to also include all the players I know are parents so far as characters in this dynasty's story, most likely. I know of two or three, at least, at present.

I am also going to post profiles periodically of potential or actual Hall of Famers, as this dynasty develops. I'd like it if others might comment periodically, if and when I do.

Although I can't understand why a team that finishes above .500 by a good margin periodically might fire people after having only hired them within the last one to five years, at most. At least in terms of OOTP, if not also in real life, when there's no logical need or reason to do so. What do you think?
