Opening .obj & .webp
Does anyone know how to open .obj & .webp files so I can replace the signs int the ball parks? I can open the .webp file and save as .jpg then import them into print artist and use some sign jps I got off the internet to cover the sign in the file but that only works in parts that have big signs. I have tried some different programs to open both but nothing works. I believe I can modify the signs in the .webp files if I had a program that let me open and modify them.
Thanks |

If you have Paint.net, you can add a .webp plugin and modify and save .webp files in there. The .obj files require a 3D program.
I have had limited success modifying the .webp files in Paint.net. Seems like it was easier in either '16 or '15. I have replaced the ads/scoreboard at Minute Maid Park, but I'm not satisfied with it. |

I have had the same problem. If the areas are big, i.e. Progressive and Comerica, I can make the changes. If they are smaller, it screws it up and put stuff in other places than what I thought they were. I will try paint net and see what I can do. However, I am beginning to think it is a waste of time because when you use the 3D stadiums in the game, either in regular or wide you can't even see the score board, at least not in Cleveland.

Not that I can find. However, I noticed that on a couple that I could modify that you really can't see the signs when using the 3D view, regular or wide, with playing the game. I also notice that when there is an update to the game that it over writes the modified ballpark files.

You should talk to silvam14 about how to design fictional parks. He has done some and they look pretty good. I have no clue how to do it but It looks like a lot of tedious work I think. I would like to see historical parks in 3D.
