How to adjust tactical settings?

Sorry but I cannot figure out how to adjust tactical settings. Whenever I make changes, let's say switch from offensive to balanced during a game, the game will always switch back to the setting I have started the game with.

Are you playing as a GM only ?
Im playing as GM only and I can change it.

Running latest version.

I am playing as GM and Head Coach. I can change the setting and resume game but when I go back to the tactics screen it shows the old setting selected again.

If you're playing as GM only, your Head Coach makes those choices. If you want to make those choices, make yourself HC, set your Assistant to control whatever it is you don't want to do, but make sure to leave Tactics on your control.

I'm guessing that's likely the issue. That or Tom is right. Changes you make in game are for that game only.

Pretty sure it's a bug, because I had my defensive preference set to balanced, but in game it would be set to physical. Unless the tendancies cause it to default a setting based on what they are set at.

It is a bug and I posted about the issue on the bug forum.

I play as General Manager + Head Coach, and no matter if I change tactics before a game or during a game, the settings always switch back to the following:

Offensive Orientation: Offensive
Physical Orientation: Physical

The problem persists on the Global tab as well as the Unit tab, no matter what boxes are checked or unchecked.
