Whalers Expansion Draft

I am looking to bring the Whale back into the NHL and I have done so by basically starting a game and editing as many details as I could about the Canes turning them back into the Whale.

Is there anyway that I can arrange an expansion draft, say in a Historical Game, or new game like with Vegas, where I can have the Whalers entering the NHL as a new team?

You can't change history in Historical. But you can Re-add the Whalers via expansion draft if you edit the league in Commissioner Mode on July 1st.

Keep in mind, you can't change who is in what's conference, so you will either have unbalanced conferences, or you could put Hartford in the Central.

Just to clarify that, Adam's saying you can add the Whalers via expansion in a new game, not historical (unless you run a historical game past 2018, then expansion is possible.)
