How do YOU separate your fighters in your universe?
I have 5 different regions, each boxer is assigned to their home group::
AABF - African / Arabian APBC - Asian Pacific EBU - European LABO - Latin American NABA - North American I also put them in groups representing their skill: Contenders - Those that make the top ten, these change often. For those not in the top ten, they are kept in their talent/skill group: Gatekeepers - Rated 5 and above Journeymen - Rated 3 and 4 Trailhorses - Rated 1 and 2 Tomato Cans - Rated 0 How about you? |

Keeping It Simple
I'm running a historical Universe, so I only have two classes of fighters: real-life guys who enter in the real-life starting years, and Tomato Cans, who basically exist only for one purpose: to pad the records of upcoming fighters, occasionally winning a fight or two. Then, in pairing fighters together, figuring out who's eligible to fight for titles, etc., II look at the Perf Points ratings that come with the game as well as geographic compatibility (fighters from North America tend to fight others from the same region, ditto for Europe and Latin America or OPBF (Asia and Pacific).
