What's your main mode of play?

While you all patiently () wait for release.. I am curious.. What will be your main mode of play in FHM 2? Please vote: real-life, fictional or historical.

In the beginning i'm going to be playing just regular old normal NHL mode. I'm curious how this game will stack up against the real NHL. I want to try and mimic actual stats in the game to the stats in the real life NHL. More then likely i'll quickly move to fictional mode. I'm loving the idea of historical mode too so i'm going to be all over the place.

Probably end up with something like 70% fictional and 30% real-life. I intend to start with real-life and get myself accustomed to everything and run a 20 year sim or so. May do a dynasty write-up on it.

Cole while you're here i'm planning on doing a 20 team fictional league. What would my options be schedule wise? Do i get to choose from different length schedules? Ideally i'd want something like a 38 game schedule where each team plays everyone team twice once at home and once on the road.

I´m a historical buff, so this is the main mode for me - can´t get any better than building franchises around Aurel Joliat, Milt Schmidt, Bobby Holik, Ron Francis, etc .
Also very curious how online play works out

Mostly fictional leagues. I do like to through in some real players in my fictional leagues too. Probably have to wait until the next version.

Once thing i'm going to do is go back to 1993 and try to win my Leafs the cup. Perhaps go out of my way to injure Gretzky so he doesn't screw us again.

Real Life no question there but I do intend to play historical and fictional eventually.

Historical all the way! It's what makes this game so enticing to me. I love hockey history, so being able to shape, reform, and relive it is absolutely amazing. 95% of all my FHM 2014 saves were historical.

For myself I'll do a current, play out the games mode with the Rangers.

Then I'll also start an historical somewhere in Original 6 days and sim through a bit faster.

Then a couple of online leagues.

The 20-team option is 2 conferences, 4 divisions, 68 game schedule.

Historical. Can you create your own minors for historical? If so, the prime years of the IHL and UHL are gonna be back, baby!

I'll be playing real life. Likely start with an expansion team. At some point I'll do games with Colorado, Toronto and Nashville - my favourite teams.

Probably won't touch Historical and Fictional beyond curiosity. Not really my thing.

Im going to start with real life NHL, Probably try to build the Penguins into a dynasty. I definitely want to play around with league expansion as well. Historical play looks like it will be pretty fun, I may go back in time and try to build hockey dynasties around some of my favorite players throughout history. I probably wont touch fictional leagues very much.

Never played a Hockey sim before, so I'll start with a current day NHL league. Although TBH that will be fictional to me, as I don't know jack about the NHL/Hockey in general. Oh I know the Maple Leafs are like the Cubs or something like that.

Hey, the Cubs made the playoffs this year, and it's actually hard to make the playoffs in baseball. The Leafs, well... we'll see how it goes

Probably RL to get a handle on the game, then do what I usually do in OOTP and go either fictional or historical/fictional

If the Leafs make the playoffs this year, the organization should rename the Air Canada Center to the Mike Babcock Miracle Center For Teams That Can't Play Good And Want To Learn To Do Other Stuff Too
