I haven't heard any official final word, but I believe expansion up to 36 is the last I had heard. The minor league teams are automatically assigned. |

I'll check in with the team on this, as right now the expansion draft occurs in the first couple days of July - meaning after the entry draft.

Yes, there are fictional leagues. There's not the same customization of every single aspect, but with a little creativity you would be able to make Endor .. the only thing I can see is that teams actually have to have a real life city to be based in .. But perhaps if someone is proficient in editing the default cities file, this could be worked around. I am not entirely sure how that might work.

Probably too late to adjust for FHM2, but something I'd like considered for FHM3. Last edited by Empach; 07-19-2015 at 01:40 PM. Reason: spelling |

No, there is no option to add 10 Wayne Gretzky's .. You can create new players pretty quickly though of whatever quality. |

I'll have to check on this, as it's not something I have personally tried yet. I'll get back to you.

Expansion at this time will be limited to the NHL.
I spoke with Jeff and he mentioned expansion requires a lot of coding to make sure the league and those with relationships with it still function correctly. The NHL is easier in this respect as it isn't subordinate to any other leagues, doesn't have a promotion/relegation system and has a contract/rights system that is expansion friendly. There are no definite plans to add expansion to other leagues, but it is a possibility for the future. |

No.... Changing division/conferences tends to be a prolific bug producer as there are a lot of checks and balances that need to go into it.
Once again, could be an option for future but as of now to keep things simple and avoid needless bugs when people change their alignments all around, you are confined to the existing configurations. |

definitely a great new feature to the game. Tons of fun with this! Building history with a new expansion franchise With the AHL and ECHL expanding with their NHL affiliate it's worth everyone trying out.

You can always take the NHL and turn it into a fictional league and take players and move them to other teams(as long as editing works).
The Detroit Red Wings(minus all their players) moved are no longer the Detroit Red Wings. |
