Panda AV says that IRSetup.exe is infected!!

Anyone else getting that message?

I use Windows 7.

It won't even let me run it.

Update...I figured out a way to run it....very weird.

Duh, let's face it. I'm stupid. STUPID!!!

That out of the way, can you guys elaborate on what this means? That bit about frequently dealing with injuries and adjusting lineups is ringing a bell with me. What's the relief? Duh?

Okay, Bru, picture this.

You're in the lineup and depth chart screen and you set a lineup. You then save it to a filename. Maybe it's your lineup against flyball pitchers, maybe it's your lineup resting your starting catcher, maybe it's your lineup against weak teams, maybe it's one of several Spring Training lineups you want to use.

Once it is saved, you could then recall it at that same screen, or at the game lineup screen, or at the seven day lineup screen. You could have say, twelve different lineups saved, and you could populate the 7 day lineup screen with them as you pleased at a click. You could load any saved lineup you wanted from the game lineup screen.

Sound useful yet?

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Just to add to Wolf's tantalizing description --

IMO, in order for customized lineups to be maximally useful -- it should be possible to save lineups that include *any players on your 40-man roster*.

Let's say you have some player who gets chronically injured (I know I do). Let's say your preferred replacement for said player is usually toiling away in AAA but is on the 40-man roster. I'd like to be able to save a lineup that includes the AAA replacement player, even though that player may not be playing in the majors.

If you mistakenly tried to 'paste' a saved lineup that included a minor league player, well, it would make sense for his place in the lineup to show up as 'blank,' the same way if your standard lineups vs. RHP, LHP, etc. features a player currently on your DL, it shows up blank. Then the lightbulb would go off, and you'd remember 'oh yeah, i need to call that guy up in order to use this particular lineup.'

Possibly this is blindingly obvious -- but I really hope the new saved lineups feature this --

EDIT -- maybe it should be possible to create & save custom lineups that can mix and match any players across your organization. This would esp. be useful during Spring Training, with the 60-man roster.

Mine too, but my license is no longer recognized -- now I have a demo notification pop-up. How did you work around that?

Is anyone else having trouble with the update file? I've downloaded it three times and keep getting this error message:

Has anyone noticed the game running slower on PC (non steam version) after installing the latest patch? Because it seems like its gotten a lot slower and I've got 8gb of RAM and an i7 processor.

I really appreciate the "Cash Available +/-" being shown on the trade screen. For years I've had to go through trial and error just to see exactly how much money the other team can offer in a trade (until I stopped seeing the message "....... does not have enough cash....."

Of course I could have just looked at each team's finance screen, but I really didn't want to leave the trade screen and this is much more convenient.

Thanks, good job guys!

Are the updates cumulative? In other words, if I downloaded my original version yesterday, is this the only update I need to download?

Yes. Or as the man said in the original post of this thread: "Patches always contain all the changes from previous patches / updates."

Use a 3rd party 'download manager' that resumes downloads when they have an issue (ie. 'Free Download Manager' for the PC). With the install file being as large as it is people have reported issues such as what you are experiencing (the file is not being correctly/fully downloaded).

Just so this doesn't get too buried, since it seems some others want to know as well...

Great suggestion. I bolded the part over which I would salivate, even if it just applies to guys already in the bigs. Your idea would be even better and for that, I thank you and I hope it sees light of day.

So I'm not seeing any roster differences since the past update (at least of Texas), is anyone else seeing this?
