Yes. My words. I still fail to see the deception. I have in the past played out games in "one pitch" mode. Everything that has been posted in this and the "AI" threads have been from just observing games. The few posts at the beginning involving the Arizona game I was running I was playing GM only. All of the posts involving the Twins I am playing GM/Manager mode.

Simming in GM/Manager mode, in game strategy set to the preset "sabermetric" which has sac bunting set very low. This happens while I'm observing a game.

It calls every bunt a sac bunt. Again, he could be bunting for a hit.
Even still, this is hardly a bad bunt. Getting a runner into scoring position for an insurance run is a common play with a one-run lead. Not sure what the problem is. Last edited by jaysdailydose; 05-10-2015 at 09:25 PM. |

How low must the sac bunt strategy setting be for the AI to not sac bunt in the first inning with one of the best hitters in the league?

If you're in manager mode, aren't you controlling whether a sac bunt is called or not?

I only observed the game. The AI handled managing supposedly using the strategy settings I posted a screen shot of.
