Nope, sorry. We're looking into this for OOTP 17.

Wow, I don't want to add to your angst but the OOTP start up routine took longer that my steam download. The whole process took about 10 min this morning. I was impressed at how smoothly it went.

Back and forth I go. Maybe I will do the Steam thing now. What can it hurt.

Once you go Steam its hard to go back. I'm a PC gamer and I can't even imagine trying to play a game without using the Steam interface anymore. It just makes everything so much easier and it does all the hard work for you.

I just got a Card (NL East)... didn't realize this game had Card Support. That was a nice surprise.

Please make this optional for those of us without stellar internet connections. My line maxes out at ~11mbps/2mbps down/up, and I do not look forward to having to keep my custom league with the 1gb disk footprint and 56k files synced.

If anyone is playing with Steam don't forget to give the game a thumbs up/write a review on the store page. I know some people buy games strictly off of reviews and perception of the game from those who own it(I have done that with Steam purchases).

You said the Steam release has the new patch, but in the future, will the patch hit the forums as well as Steam at the same time, or will Steam get the patch hours/days later?

Ok, this is the first time that I have bought a Steam game outside of Steam. I have my Steam key. What do I do with it?

Do I add OOTP16 to my cart in steam? If so, where do I enter the Steam key?

Any help, please?

Go to 'Games (in the top toolbar) > Activate a product on steam' and enter your code.

It will be great to get this feature! For now, I'm trying to get set up using my OneDrive folder as the repository for the saved games, although not having much success (seems OOTP16 does not like symbolic links pointing to another folder for the OOTP data folder where the saved games are).

First time OOTP was on steam I got frustrated that the steam version wasn't patched yet so I decided to apply the patch available here to my steam version. Boy, did that screw up my steam version but good. Don't do it.... LOL

Wait for Steam to update your game on their own.

Anyone else have trouble with the steam version? My computer loads the regular install just fine (only takes 10-20 seconds or so to get to the menu) however the steam one is taking closer to 10 minutes. Unfortunately it wasn't just the first time I loaded it up either. It has a really hard time getting to the main menu.

Did my Steam download last night. As far as I can tell everything is working fine. The main thing I'm noticing that's different is when I start the game up, it runs through a process in which it looks like it's loading the game folders or something. In otherwords instead of going straight from the blue screen to the menu screen, it first has a file load period. Hoping this is normal and I don't have a future issue. The game plays fine.

My 'my documents' folder is using a different hard drive than my OS (
os drive is an SSD). OOTP database, games, etc.. installed to My Documents folder. I created a junction link from that folder to one on my SSD and I have had no issues. Maybe try to do a junction link instead of a symbolic link.

But Steam will do it in the background while you are playing other games or doing other things.

you don't have to, both games can coexist on the same system.
