I pre-ordered today, but the drop in the Canadian dollar really hurt. Oy.

That said, winning an Amazon gift card would ease my pain, especially if I can get the equivalent of US$500 on Amazon.ca (which would be a little over C$600).

Preordered. The MLB thing nearly scared me off. Am I the only OOTP player who hates modern MLB? Still love building fictional leagues though and the addition to playoff stat tracking makes this years version a must buy. Been playing since version 2. Thank you Markus for all your hardwork and making such an enjoyable game.

Copied... pre-ordered and saw the price in CDN and spent a few minutes thinking I clicked on a wrong link and the discount wasn't counted (no, it's because the loonie is THAT low)...

No, I don't think you are. Well, maybe people don't hate it, but I sense a large part of the community prefers fictional to modern day. Me, personally, I play a good mix of both. I just don't play historical.

I wouldn't say hate, but one thing that OOTP's made me aware of is, I like baseball from the 1960 - 1984 much more than modern day. Love the 70's probably the most. Give me a 5 man bullpen with relief pitchers that don't pitch in 1/3's and I'm happy
