Will rescheduled games from rainouts have straight doubleheaders along with day/night doubleheaders or will they be rescheduled when both teams have the same off day?

Will it be possible for the LA Dodgers(or fictional LA teams) home games along with teams that play in domed stadiums have rain outs?

Though only in MLB-related games so they are still there for those who play fictional and want them.
OK, thanks. Still getting caught up on all the chatter surrounding the new version.

Rescheduling follows the real life guidelines. So first it tries for a proper double-header (same home team), then a common off-day, then a double-header with the home team ignored and then it schedules it after the season if necessary.

Teams in domed stadiums do not have rain-outs.

While I was already looking forward to 16 I'm really excited about the playoff coverage and leaderboards, hall of fame additions, and more awards. A pretty Opening Day release is also a big plus.

Hopefully the MLB license will bring in lots of new customers. In my opinion losing drug suspensions, which I always turn off, is a small price to pay.

Leaky roof??? Astros had a game rained out back in the 1970's because of rain plus a series was rained out because of a Hurricane in the area a few years ago. They played a home game or two in Milwaukee.

This appears to be the most appealing new features list i've seen in a quite some time. Well done!

For Pete's sake, Markus! I was going to wait to buy 16 til the All-Star break because I'm so deep into my 15 quickstart and fictional league that I didn't think I'd need to upgrade from 15 immediately. Then I read the release notes this morning and that plan flew right out the window!

Now in addition to OOTP 16, you have to buy a new window.

Very nice list of little features that will have a noticeable effect on gameplay (independent leagues, GM only mode, finances, hall of fame voting). Looking forward to March!

You just made yourself an extra $20!

I haven't played OOTP or bought a new version since 10. I wasn't planning on buying 16 at all. I figured I might as well save $20 and just get 15. Then I read this...

New play modes (Manager only, GM only, and GM + Manager), so you can decide exactly how you'd like to run your team
Recoded All-Star Game features with real voting (including online league support)
Realistic OOTP Hall of Fame selection process, including simulated voting and new stats like JAWS, HoF Standards, Black & Grey Ink Tests
More player awards, for example Most Valuable Player, Playoff Series MVPs, best hitters by position and Reliever of the Year
Better playoff history tracking, including career playoff stats for all real players in the database and playoff leaderboards

The added HOF stuff only is worth the extra $20!

Thanks!

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I usually wait until the All-Star break sale to buy my every-other-year copy of OOTP. But this looks amazing, you'll be getting my money on the next payday!

Count me as interested.

Sadly, no flashy new accounting screenshots to make this accountant all giddy.

Will there be an easy way to add financial growth as the years go by? I like to use the financial co-efficient, but it alters current contracts as well

I haven't played OOTP for more than an hour since OOTP 9 or 10. With a young family I just don't have the time to put into it. Always a loyal supporter to ensure that Markus and company are still pumping out versions when I have time to play - whenever that might be.

Congrats Markus!
