Yes, this should be a huge priority... And along those lines, we're long overdue (IMO) for more realistic playoff schedules. Ideally, implementing some of LGO's suggestions - especially when it comes to historical, but at a minimum anything sensible that breaks up the monotony of OOTP playoff schedules that are unrealistically identical for both leagues (again, referring to historical)...

To illustrate, during the best-of-5-games league championship series era (1969 thru 1984), there were often series' that had no scheduled off day. Incorporating this type of realistic scheduling into OOTP would force both AI and human managers to make critical post-season starting pitching decisions.

That said, I am glad that OOTP at least includes the flexibility for me to edit playoff schedules so they are realistic and to my liking.
