I think the arm angle idea is on the right track, but instead of just a simple description should be an actual rating along the lines of "deception". Certain pitchers "hide" the ball better than do other pitchers. Additionally, some pitchers have "hitches" in their delivery that throw off the timing of hitters, Kershaw is a good example of this.
