4-Day/5-Day Rotation
What is the purpose?
I'm using a 4-Day Rotation, and these guys are never exhausted or tired when it is their turn to pitch. Why should I carry a 5th Starter when 4 work fine? Doesn't make sense... |

I would assume the 5 man rotation is there for use since its the most common used in MLB since I would guess the late 70's. I use a 4 man and spot one of my MR as a 5th starter when/if needed. It would need to be in iOOTP since it is part of the real game. Good news is we can choose not to use it. |

Along with rotation, are three options, realistic, strict, and best rested.
The last two seem obvious. However, how does "realistic" work? |

pretty normally really. It tries to follow 1-5, but if there are off days and some of the better guys are fully rested they will pitch them instead.
