I still think the best records should be promoted, not the series winners.

At each higher level, the talent range gets smaller - promoting the best w/l records will push the better teams to the top... it's the exact opposite of pushing the worst teams down.

For whatever it may be worth, I have advocated in other threads that promotion should be based on the Score assigned to each season. This way, credit can be given for both regular and post season success.

Hey that's me! (New New York Mets). I ended up losing to a walk off in game 7...no good.

I really didn't want to be promoted either, this team is pretty cheap and gonna get shelled in perfect. Oh well.

Did you happen to notice if the "Evil Empire" Yankee themed team was wildcard. I was wondering if the championship game in the theme league were both wildcards as well?

No worries, I didn't take it that way at all.

As things turned out, this team is now in the same division as my other Perfect level team (Humboldt Green). These two teams have completely opposite strategies/park factors. Should be interesting.
