You have a player who is "outspoken". In editor terms, his controversy rating is really high. In personality description, it will say something like "not shy about expressing his opinions". |

"Disruptive influences" are more likely a guy who's a true clubhouse cancer. If you read through the personalities it should be clear who it is.

I'm not a fan of something that encourages looking in the editor. I just don't see the point.

If players complain during the season, only those on the active roster are considered. So if they say there's a disruptive influence, then it's a guy on the 25-man not the 40 who's causing problems (although keep in mind that not everyone might complain for the same reason, and that if you win, that should generally solve other problems). |

Surprised to see so many perceived issues with this. In my experience, it's not hard to figure out who the cancers are on your team by simply reading the personality blurb. Statements are pretty straight forward. Have not experienced 40 man roster issues either.
I don't think it's as in depth as the original poster mentions...certain players having certain issues with certain types of players. Nah, more like if a guy is a cancer some people can deal with it...others can't. I kinda like the feature...and oddly enough it feels like one of the more black and white additions in a "under the hood" type of simulation game. Last edited by SodoMojo; 12-05-2015 at 08:59 PM. |

I personally like the morale option. It allows for deeper immersion into the game IMO.
Also, not to steal the thread Steve509. I noticed your avatar....I was Air Assault in the Marines man. I'd rather slide down a rope.....I never wanted to jump out of a plane lol.

Club House Discontent
Have the same problem cannot seem to find the cause, enjoying going through this thread for the ideas; next step is to look at the manager. The level of detail in this game is incredibly and to think it is only going to get better in the future! I'm thinking that this is the best $ I have ever spent on a simulation game! I have spent a pile of $ over the past 35 years.

I have been around the franchise for quite some time, but just recently picked up OOTP 16. I love the level of detail that features like this bring, as it makes me look deeper as a GM at players I'm considering bringing in. It may be a pain to some, but makes things much more realistic, especially since the personality runs through the staff as well.
I, too, am experiencing an issue as Manager only. I have an entire roster being brought down because of issues with some players in the clubhouse. One of the guys on my roster is described as a "Clubhouse Cancer" (wasn't hard to find him, eh?). Problem is, as the manager, I can't get rid of him. Does anyone know of any plans where you can somehow bring this type of thing to the attention of the AI GM? This guy is a reliever, so his "benching" is not something I can obviously do. Any advise is greatly appreciated.
