Does anyone know?

Does anyone know of any free 3d modeling software that doesn't have any of its features inaccessible after a certain trial period that can possibly be used to make parks, prior to me eventually getting OOTP 21? I still would love to see some new stadiums for any number of my teams, whether or not I can make them myself at some point, for sure. The program I tried (something Sketchup-related) was hard to understand and get into easily enough, to be honest.

My free trial period with Sketchup Maker, or whatever it's called, expired before I could really do much, if anything at all, with it, unfortunately. Plus it seemed to be rather complicated at that time, I think, come to think of it, when I was trying to work with it easily enough. Please advise. Thank you. CD out.

SketchUp Make 2017. The "trial" is just for the Pro features.

https://help.sketchup.com/en/downloading-older-versions

SketchUp continues working just fine after that, although you can't export the OBJ files that OOTP uses without an add-on: https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=OBJexporter.

And, sure it's complicated, but you'll never figure out how to use it if you don't try.

Thanks for the information. Any other programs, though, that I might be able to use easily enough and learn easily enough besides that, in order to possibly do parks, et cetera? I'm just wondering, that's all. I can't buy anything directly myself, at this point, you see. In the meantime, please continue to try and work hard and turn out great work, I hope, as the Lord leads you and all, and may you and all of yours stay as safe as possible in these challenging times, eriq. Thanks for all your hard work to date on the parks you've done as well. CD out.

According to the OOTP manual Blender can be used. It may require some plugins. This program is free and there is a lot of support for it including YouTube. 3D modeling is not easy and there is a steep learning curve. If anybody had trouble using silvam14's tutorials I doubt Blender would be easier. You have to put in the effort if you want to make stadiums yourself. I don't have a 3D brain so I find 3D modelling difficult. I'll stick to 2D editing. Maybe you'll love 3D editing.

Thank you, Micro. I may have Blender on my laptop, but not sure. I don't think I have it on this computer, either. Hopefully I can eventually be able to grasp the necessary concepts when it comes to making certain 3d models, et cetera, sufficiently well. I do relish challenges, to a degree, but it often takes me a while to get up to speed with certain things in my life, for one reason or another.

I have lately been making quite a few uniforms, and I've tried making some caps as well. But logos-related work, that's still hard for me, in certain ways, for certain reasons. I've not yet been able to get the hang of Pickoff, whenever I've tried, for some reason, unfortunately.

If you or anyone else would like to see some of my latest work, then please let me know. If there is enough interest from others who might want to see it, then I'll probably create a suitable thread in the Graphics Forum for people to check out my things, of course. But only if enough people want to see my work, and they might not have seen it before, obviously. Thank you for your advice and all, then, here. CD out.

It's also helpful to have a large number of "textures" to add variety to your stadiums. I've put together a library of day and night textures (they look different based on time of day) here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Noy...ew?usp=sharing
