W, (7-4) @Nationals Park

Victor Robles had a great game as he went 3 for 4 with a huge 3-run home-run on the third innings. Garret Richards struggled in his second start as he gave up 4 runs in 4.1 innings pitched. Daniel McGrath had a great relief outing and he has been excellent so far. Brad Hand earned his ninth save of the year.

W, (5-0) @Nationals Park
We had our second shutout win of the year thanks to a great performance by Trevor Bauer. Bauer had complete command of his curveball and lead the team to a win thanks to seven innings of 2-hit shutout ball. McGrath and Rainey finished the game. The offense was commanded by Trea Turner went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. Carter Kieboom also had a good multi-hit game.

Roster Moves
Keone Kela was diagnosed with a strained triceps and he will be out for 6 weeks. He went to the 15-day IL. James Borque was recalled from AAA.

W, (7-4) @Nationals Park
We managed to win by a very slim margin and sweep the Reds. Scherzer only threw 4.2 innings and allowed 5 runs. Nevertheless, the game was close as the offense came through on the first few innings. Carter Kieboom had his 4th homer of the year. Guerra, Givens, and Suero struggled in relief and the Reds tied the game on the top of the eighth. But a single by Kolten Wong in the bottom of that same inning gave us the edge and Brad Hand recorded his 10th save of the year.

League News
Michael Kopech was diagnosed with a torn labrum and will miss 4 months of action.
SP Lucas Sims was traded from the Reds to the Blue Jays.

W, (4-2) @Miller Park
We won our fifth game on a row thanks to a good performance by Strasburg. Stephen went 7.2 innings, allowed 2 runs and punched out 9 rivals. Suero finished the 8th inning and Brad Hand handled the ninth recorded yet another save. Carter Kieboom was named player of the game as he had a grand slam on the 4th inning that gave us the lead.

W, (12-10) @Miller Park
The second game at Milwaukee was a nailbiter. We scored early thanks to a homer by Juan Soto and some good rallies. Castro and Kieboom also went deep but on the bottom of the eighth Tailon and Givens struggled and gave up 4 runs. The game went to extra innings and at the top of the 12th innings, Turner and Murphy scored. James Bourque handled the bottom of the inning and earned his second save of the season.

W, (4-2) @Miller Park
A late out rally helped us take the final game of the series and win our sixth win of the week. Garret Richards had his first quality outing of the year and he went six innings allowing 2 runs. The bullpen had a good outing and kept the Brewers scoreless for the three final innings. Zimmerman had a clutch homer on the top of the ninth of Josh Hader that gave us a two-run deal. Javy Guerra handeld the ninth and earned his first save of the year.

Roster Moves
Carter Kieboom was diagnosed with a strained oblique and was placed on the injured list. Drew Ward was recalled from AAA and will play 3B until Kieboom is back.

L, (2-3) @Dodger Stadium
In spite of a good performance by Trevor Bauer, we lost the second game of the series and our winning streak is over. Trevor Bauer went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. All 3 runs came thanks to a home run by Gavin Lux in the 4th inning. Trea Turner had a 2-run shot to keep the game close but we were unable to break the Dodgers bullpen.

L, (4-10) @Dodger Stadium
Strasburg had to leave the game after just one inning because of an undisclosed injury. The bullpen had a terrible game as McGrath gave 3 on just 1 inning. German first appearance of the season was not a good one as he gave up a run in 1.1 innings pitched. Rainey, Suero, Borque, and Guerra all had bad outings and gave up 2 runs each. Drew Ward had his first home run in the majors.

Roster Moves
Terrible news as Trevor Bauer was diagnosed with ruptured finger tendon and he will be out of action for 4 months. He will go to the 60-day IL. Will Crowe was called from AAA to replace him.

W, (7-6) @Nationals Park
We´ve won the first game of this home series against the Cardinals in spite of Brad Hand's first blown save of the year. Hand, who took over in the ninth with a 3 run lead gave up a 3-run homer to Dansby Swanson. Garret Richards had another good outing as he went 6 innings and allowed just one run. McGrath has struggled and has been in a slump the past week. The offense was powered by the long ball. Trea Turner, Jason Castro, and Daniel Murphy had two-run shots.

W, (8-5) @Nationals Park
We took the second game of the series thanks to a good performance offensively. Trea Turner went 2 for 4 with a homer and a double with a couple of RBI´s. Drew Ward who is making his debut in the majors had two hits and is batting for .250. Javy Guerra earned his second save of the year.

Roster Moves
Another terrible blow for our rotation as Stephen Strasburg was diagnosed with a torn labrum and will miss 4 months. Drew Harrington was recalled from AAA. Taillon will return to his role as a starter.

W, (9-4) @Nationals Park
In spite of the terrible injury news, we have received in the last couple of weeks we are still winning some ball games. Scherzer had a bad outing as he allowed 4 runs in 6 innings whilst punching out 11. The bullpen and the offense bailed out Scherzer. Drew Ward had a towering home run in the third inning to bring home 3 runs. Robles had a three-hit game and he was named NL player of the week.

Post 2021 Week 9. (32-20)

The last game of the series against the Cardinals was rained out.

L, (2-6)@Nationals Park
Will Crowe had a good major league debut as he gave up just 2 runs in six innings. He left the game with the score tied at 2. The bullpen could not hold the Dodgers offense and they allowed 4 runs in the final innings. Drew Ward went deep for his third of the year and he has been red hot since being called up.

Roster Moves
Kendal Graveman was claimed from waiver. His previous team was the Boston Red Sox´s

W, (2-0)@Nationals Park
We won the second game of the series thanks to an amazing performance by Jameson Tailon who delivered seven innings of 2-hit and no-run baseball. Brad Hand earned his 12th save of the year. Our runs came thanks to a 2-run homer by Victor Robles on the 5th inning.

L, (4-6)@Nationals Park
We dropped the final game of the series thanks to a ninth-inning home run from Will Smith. Garret Richards struggled and had to leave the game early due to an injury. Drew Ward had yet another home run and has been amazing.

Roster Moves
Wilmer Difo was DFA´d. Carter Kieboom was activated from the IL.

L, (5-8)@Citizens Bank Park
Rick Porcello had a difficult outing as he gave up 5 runs in just 3.2 innings. The offense was driven by a great performance of Carter Kieboom. Kieboom went 3 for 4 with 3 runs batted in and a home run. Taylor went deep as well for his first homer of the year. That was not enough as the Phillies scored late off Wander Suero and secured the victory.

L, (3-5)@Citizens Bank Park
Like last season Scherzer has been suffering due to the long ball. In the second game of the series against the Phillies, he went seven innings and allowed 5 runs. The runs came thanks to a couple of homers from Hoskins (2) and Harper. Drew Harrington struggled in his second outing of the year. Trea Turner went deep to get his 13th of the year.

W, (12-4)@Citizens Bank Park
A late out rally helped us secure the last game of the series. Will Crowe started for us, his second start of the year, and had a decent outing going seven innings and allowing four runs. German and McGrath handled the rest of the game. Victor Robles and Christian Vazquez went deep.

The final game of the series was a pitching duel that we won by a slim margin. Rick Porcello was as good as we hoped by going 8 innings and allowing just 2 runs. He gave the bullpen some crucial time to rest for the next series. Brad Hand handled the ninth and earned his 14th save of the year. Juan Soto went deep of Foltynewicz with 2 men on base for his seventh homer of the year

L, (16-0)@Nationals Park
We had a great blowout shutout win on the first game against the Rockies. Scherzer threw seven innings of 3-hit baseball whilst punching out 10. McGrath finished the shutout by keeping the team from Colorado hitless on the last 2 innings. It was a HR fest for us as Turner, Wong, Eaton, Soto, and Kieboom x2 went deep.

L, (4-6)@Nationals Park
Will Crowe's third start in the major was pretty bad. He allowed six runs in the first two innings. The bullpen kept the game close but the offense couldn't overcome the big deficit. Juan Soto and Drew Ward had a mult-hit effort. The player of the game was Brendan Rogers who had 2 homers for the Rockies.

W, (9-5)@Nationals Park
Ryan Zimmerman had an incredible 3-run home run on the bottom of the 8th inning to give us the series. Tailon was rolling when he had to leave the game with a sprained anklet. The bullpen gave the Rockies offense some hope allowing 5 runs in the eighth. Adam Eaton and Michael Taylor both went deep.

Brad Hand recorded his 23rd save of the year.

W, (9-3) @Great American Ball Park
Another great performance by Scherzer led us to our 61st win of the season. Max had seven innings of one-run baseball. The run came thanks to an Evan White Home run.
