Retractable Dome Stadium

Got to a place that I am good to post it.

Society Sun Dome, currently setup for Vancouver,BC, holds 30,630 fans. It has a retractable glass dome, and is 333 ft.from field to top of the dome. It is symmetrical across center field. The dimensions are 317' down both lines with 12' fences. It switches to 8' fences in LF and RF with a distance of 349'. The power alleys are 373' from home with short 6' fences. The real unique feature is the 175' glass wall in dead center at 400' straightaway.

The glass, concrete, and copper coated steel structure has a near 360' opening on the middle deck and stadium lights along the lines.

Love the Ballpark I downloaded it and extracted to my models folder open game up to import then imported it and its as all black anything I did wrong?

I don't know but it probably means the texture folder isn't mapped correctly to your mtl file. Has anyone else tried and gotten the same results?

I had it happen when I tried to rename the textures folder to have "_Textures" plastered on the end. I changed the name of that folder back to the way it was and it worked.

I downloaded this stadium and now my ability to watch games in 3d is gone. Only classic and modern 2d view are showing. And in the edit ballpark screen when I tried to go into the 3d model it said that a GL file had to be reactivated. When I clicked on that nothing happened, it seemed to freeze.

EDIT: I quit the game and reopened it and now everything seems to be ok.

If this happens again, you can go into the Game settings and under 3D/Facegen, ensure 3D is enabled. At times when there is an issue loading a stadium, it will turn 3D enabling off.

This crashed 24 trying to load the 3d model.

Is Cf wall supposed to be 175 ft?

YES! The glass CF wall is all in play so HRs only go into the short corners.

After playing several years of playing games out, occasionally HRs somehow go over CF but most of them bounce off.

This stadium crashes my game when trying to start game. i checked 3D enabling and reloaded the .prk file and it still did it.

Edit: After your DM, I re-downloaded it and selected the .obj since it did not load in. stadium loads but looks like this. I tried several camera angles.

Change the directory names
From:
models/Society Sun Dome/Society Sun Dome
To:
models/Society Sun Dome/ Society Sun Dome_Textures

I will update the .rar to fix the download.
