Nice. Just needs to be lined better.
"lined up better," that is. Full screen (1920 x 1080), default skin, standard font size.

I should have asked first I suppose. I assume others are seeing this problem?

I've not had this problem, but have in the past had similar problems on other screens. I found that this happens when I change the skin and don't restart the program. Maybe that's what's happening to you?

Heh. Why wait when I have a test game installation at work? The answer is no. It seems to be related to screen resolution size, as these three screen prints show. The first is so small that the portion showing uniforms is missing. The second is okay, but once screen size gets above a certain level, the overlapping begins. I certainly see it on Window, Maximized and Full Screen. This is two different installations on two computers. Nobody else is seeing this?

Me too. The one skin and its smaller font are overlapping in various places, not just the screens you mention, Bru.

I have not had this issue.
Either in Fullscreen or Windowed. I play in Full 90% of this time - 2,560 x 1,440 resolution at a 16:9 aspect ratio. |

FWIW, although I cannot match your 2,560 x 1,440 resolution (), I did set mine for 1920 x 1080 which is the same 16:9 ratio as yours. Below is what it looks like. It could be that there is a sweet (sour?) spot for this issue; above that range, there is enough vertical space to accommodate. Below the range, and part of the display is eliminated which avoids the issue.

EDIT: I know that there is that "Sweet Spot" in regards to screen resolution as most gamers say that 2,560 x 1,440 resolution is that screen sweet spot (at 144mhz), but that is with graphic intensive games. Last edited by vulcan4; 04-19-2017 at 09:26 PM. |

Full or windowed, does not matter. As I said, I think maybe your screen has so much real estate that you don't see this issue. You see it at lower screen resolutions but at the lowest sizes, you don't see it because the game removes some of the portions of the interface to make room. See above (post #5).

Ohh, and please forgive me for asking this here, but what is that option on the Game Settings screen OpenGL/3D & FaceGen where there is that dropdown list and it says Use OpenGL and 'Fast Blit'? What is 'Fast Blit'? lol

My game has always been run in full screen so to answer vulcan's question it is always there, not the result of switching from windowed to full, full to windowed, or skins. |
