Issues with custom league reports templates

Following the instructions from the manual:

https://manuals.ootpdevelopments.com...mizing_reports

"By default, OOTP loads the template files from the folder /templates. But you can create league specific templates easily. Just create a sub folder /templates inside your league folder and copy all .tpl files into this folder. Restart OOTP and it will use the league specific files!"

So this is what it should look like after, right?

-Item A-
C:\Users\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 20\saved_games\New League.lg\templates

I've added the templates folder from this source:

-Item B-
C:\Users\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 20\templates

Now, I shut down OOTP. When I reload the game and load my league and go to export and generate my league reports, instead of fetching the custom template (Item A) info from the New League.lg, it goes back to the main templates folder (Item B) from OOTP Baseball 20 directory.

So, long story short, my custom styles.css is overwritten and so are some of my custom images.

Additional information
I am running multiple online leagues and would like to have different css styles and images for each. I know I could simply modifiy styles.css dark, classic and the original one, but would still have the same issue when updating new images (like players or team logos). Also, I would have to reinstall my customized headers every single time. (I do not like the actual .jpg image they have, I replace it with a .png 50% transparent header instead for looks by simply renaming the .png to .jpg through filezilla.
Using photoshop to convert the .png clear banner to .jpg doesn't work. It converts it to a solid color.)

Another manoeuver that I would like to avoid; switching from one style to another depending on the online league reports I am about to upload is bound for a mistake to happen. This is why I need the help of forcing my specific league to look into it's own templates folder and upload only the stuff from it.

Sorry for the long post. Long live Baseball, long live OOTP & it's community!

Thanks in advance.

There could be a bug with this, it's not an area that gets used often and could slip through the cracks in testing.

As a hack/workaround have you tried deleting the default templates (item B)?

Deleting item B leads to a reinstall on startup (templates folder)

Also, If I replace the images (tie_batter, tie_pitcher), that stays. But since I can only have one genre set of images, then I'll have to use the same for both (or more) leagues.

Tested Workaround:

Lets say you have two leagues with two different styles.css for them, you have to switch OOTP skin under SETTINGS in order for this to work. (tested for Online league)

- Set up dark, classic or original styles.css to your liking;
- Uncheck "Copy and Upload new changed images (optional) under report settings;
- Proceed to upload the online league reports.

All the updated league info will be applied, but the images and the styles.css file will remain unaffected.

Make sure you have copies of your changes/files. Also, manually update the league images (players, logos) when needed using Filezilla or cPanel (or other).
