cancel an expansion draft?

So the AI just expanded MLB by two teams.

But I don't want to expand.

I removed the teams from the league structure, but it's still forcing me to conduct an expansion draft.

Any idea how I cancel the draft?
I want to leave everything exactly as it was before this expansion popped up.

try deleting it under Events

Meaning we cancel Trade Deadline Date so Trading can happen all year round?

Help... having same problem...

Deleted both teams, cancelled event (draft and protection) -- but one team is still showing up and it won't let me advance because the Orioles haven't submitted protection lists (I presume no team has).

What do I do? One of the teams still shows up from the expansion center (just one) -- even though that's the only screen I can access it from.

GRRRRRRR... I knew I should have unchecked that evolution option.
