Running out of players

Just started a historical replay in OOTP16.
Using all real teams in players from 1969, I released all players and a had a draft, suing no fictional players only ghosts.
My question is this: What would happen if your team were to suffer more injuries at any one time to the point where you simply didn't have enough players to properly fill your 25-man roster.
With no REAL minor leaguers, who can a team call up to the majors if your are simply out of players?
I made it through the first season and didn't run out of players, but there were times I had so many guys on the DL that my minor leagues were almost empty.

When you play historical you pretty much have to set your injury setting according to the number of players available. If you aren't using the feature that forces players to miss season and retire according to history, you will accumulate players over time, making it possible to increase your injury rate. Of course, all of this will be solved when OOTP 17 comes out with fully stocked minors.

Do you erase all history and start with zero stats when you play? If so, if you want to start in 69, just create your league in say 64, fast sim ahead to 69, erase all league history and select the option for a fantasy draft. You will have a lot more players to fill out your rosters.

Thanks

I made it through the first year and just had the 1970 player draft so I'm a little deeper, so running out of players shouldn't be an issue/
