Your MLB team choice in Standard Game

Just wondering what everyone's first team pick will be for OTP 21. I am looking for a really good challenge to start with.

I really want to pick the Orioles since I believe they would be the toughest team to rebuild into a contender, however they are rivals to my Blue Jays....soooo its pretty hard to actually come to select them.

I still may, but just wondering what everyone else's first choice.

Orioles.

I use the basic out-of-the-box settings, but go with the 20-80 rating scale, No Stars and the Trade AI at Very Difficult / favor prospects. As I mentioned in another thread, I think with these settings it's a bit more realistic (for me), and so they will be tough, but a good challenge;

I might be tempted to try the Orioles and very difficult. I have always played challenge mode which is just difficult/hard trading I believe

Gonna go a bit different this year and start out with the Yankees. Time to get them over the hump that is the Houston Astros and get another World Series ring.

Yeah, 27 really isn't that many rings. They could use a few more. 30 is a nice round number.

I usually run with the Cardinals or a challenge like the Marlins, this year however, I'm going totally fictional (GM of the Cardinals).

Will probably give my Reds a go again. See how I can do with the new signings they made this year!

Going to try and run two this year, we'll see how it goes. Main game is going to be with the Pirates and my secondary game is going to be with the Phillies, after much debate.

Always start with a test save with my Yankees during the beta though

Does your trade Ai mean the AI will favor prospects or YOU favor prospects? I can never remember

Im going with my Giants...AARP roster, market crashing salaries, and a few bright spots in the farm.

First save's gonna be an MLB 1800's into the future, with me taking over the Mets when they come into existence in 1962.

I always start with my Pirates, but I have thought about doing an expansion team this year. I have never done one in OOTP and think it would be cool to build from the ground up. I have done one in FHM and always loved the experience.
