What is something you used but not anymore?
Just curious what new features were implemented in the past that you don't use anymore.
Examples: Facegen/storylines/evolution/expansion For me it would probably be evolution. I have learned I don't like change. Mostly I keep changing the current MLB game to 80-90's league settings since I like pitchers who can stay past 5 innings and I miss stolen bases. Also expanding a league that seems over saturated isn't fun as well. I would go back to evolution if expansion was cleaned up and worked a lot better. Such as choosing coaches and such. But the big thing would be contraction. |

I just realized that all the other leagues in my universe used financials on par with MLB, so I adjusted them and now all the other leagues will stop poaching MLB-caliber talent.
Kind of what you are looking for, but not exactly. |

WPA graph, or whatever it is called.
Team strategy settings. 2D, I guess that does not count since it has always been there. Face gen, have used but I always go back, when I can, to real photos. Do not play in manager role anymore. Random, okay I can understand why some really like it but for some reason I always get frustrated. Minor league system, to much work for me. Exit velocity, nice novelty for awhile but now it just takes up space. Asst GM, he has given me bad advice to many times and when I do let him control something, he screws up. |

2D. Boring.
Oh, and PT. Tried it when it was released. Been there, done that. Finished. Last edited by zappa1; 08-25-2019 at 06:46 AM. |

3D no more, I find the movements have gone worse instead of improving. Sad really.

Marathon games.
It seemed like in the past every 3 or 4 weeks I would see an 18 inning (or more) game and now it's never the case. Did people complain about too many long games? |

3D. I'll check it out again next year, but I'm not expecting much of an improvement.

Nicknames, Baseball Cards and Automatic Evolution (I hate when the game expands two years in a row, had that happen to me three times).

Baseball Cards. The time it takes to load them doesn't make it worth it for me.

3D. It's a tad frustrating in it's current state.

They may not be 18 innings but in the last 3 weeks of play in my franchise I have had 5 12+ inning games. It has absolutely demolished my bullpen because most of the minor leaguers on my 40-man don't have any options left so the next time I promote them I'm stuck. Luckily, my starters have outstanding stamina so they generally go 100-120 pitches before I have to pull them, and when the bullpen is exhausted I pitch to contact often with the starters to help them go 7+ innings. It has been quite the unique experience. I'm sure it will even out, but for now I like the challenge it has presented.

3D. WPA graphs (never quite got them). Owner goals (really not realistic imo). Face gen. Baseball cards.
