Player Trade causes CTD

Can anyone else see if they get this problem please and let me know. Would like to confirm if it's a bug or my system.

After installing today's patch, go to Free Agency and click on the "Player Trade" Tab.

Whenever I click on the tab, OOTP crashes to desktop.

Not just you Bluenoser. Just tried it on my system and after sitting and spinning for a little while, it crashes to my desktop as well.

I don't see the same issue in my test leagues. Are you just running a regular league setup? Can you get to the trade window in some other way (ie. from a trade email, shop a player, or the right click menu on a player) and have it work?

I can't no, I don't manage a team

I tried different skins and all 3 of my fictional leagues. As soon as I click the Tab, the game stops working and crashes.

Should mention, this started after todays patch.

I downloaded and installed a 2nd time to be sure I didn't get a bad copy.

Okay, I saw it on a different league. It looks like it's a problem if you don't manage a team. If you are in control, then this works correctly. Sorry about that, we'll get a fix for this out as soon as we can.

Well, it's the only route to the "Completed Trades" tab.

I like to click on the Completed Trades Tab because I like to see who's been traded and what all was included in the trade.

Kind of like real life, I don't manage a team but I still follow the sport and it's transactions.


Will it be long for the next patch?

We're gathering together a few other fixes, so it will likely be towards the end of the week or early next week.

The trade log is linked from the top dropdown in the Logs sub-menu. From there for the moment, you can navigate to any of the other sub-tabs in the trade menu, and as long as you don't hit the "initiate trade" tab should be safe.
