More spring training? At first, . But then, . I was enjoying ST remotely (from my New York armchair) before this happened. First shortened season since, when, the 1994-95 strike? 113 games in 1994 and 144 games in 1995. No All-Star Game - need those days to make up a few games at least. Not a big loss, IMO. Regular season games throughout October? Not a problem. Compare this to Green Bay Packers home games in December. World Series played at a neutral site (the article touts Miami ) - this is the only thing that gives me pause. I don't want MLB to be getting any ideas along these lines.

Play the World Series in natural sunlight - problem sufficiently solved!

Man, couldn't they do as originally supposed in some other sports and play the games in empty stadiums? There would still be revenue, but not as much, I guess. They would rather wait a bit to see if they can restart the season early enough to save most if not all games.
And then again, it's also about the players themselves. Unless they all changed into and out of their uniforms on the field and stood in front of the dugout and down the lines six feet apart, the league would be compromising their safety, I guess. How is that for answering my own questions? Just nifty, Bruce. Thanks for stopping by.

I wouldn't object to having the games played in Chase Field. After all, dry decent weather here that time of year. Plus, it doesn't hurt that I work about 1/2 mile from the stadium. |

I don't see them playing the regular season through October. November can be very wet or just flat out have horrible weather in a lot of the cities around the country. Why take that chance? I figured they'd start when they can and end the season as usual.
