Schedule association playoffs?

You can manually add a playoff schedule to a league (via the regular schedule file) - does anyone know of a way to manually add an association playoff schedule??

What do you mean exactly?

If you choose Association playoffs (in the association options), the games will be scheduled as soon as all associated leagues have finished their season. You may then change the dates to your liking, the games order too, with the in-game editor.

One thing to remember though, the association playoffs games appear only on the league schedule of the home team.

I don't know (never tried) whether it's possible to add association playoff games without selecting the option to hold association playoffs in the first place.

I'm nearly certain that DustyElbows was referring to creating a custom schedule file. Like, what would you name the file so that the game uses it?

I wasn't aware that we could create custom playoff files. I always thought schedule files were for the regular season only. One learns something new every day.

As far as I know, there is no association specific schedule file. Each league uses its own file. To change the association playoff schedule, you need to play with the options available in the association playoff screen and work with the in-game schedule editor, in League options (see my first previous post).

Edit: maybe the schedule modders will have the answer.
