1912
The real 1912 World series was an absolute thriller. The Boston Red Sox defeated the New York Giants in eight games (4-3-1) to claim the title. IN our replay's we had a bit of history. For the first time the simulations have produced a different winner than one of the two teams represented in the actual World Series. In this case it was the Pittsburgh Pirates taking both brackets of the sim.

1913
1913 was the year the Philadelphia A's beat the New York Giants 4-1 in the World Series. In our simulations the A's would have their hands full in both versions. In the no injury sim there were six teams with 2 games going into the last 16 games of the season. The A's would hold on. In the injury portion it was the cross town Phillies that almost upset the A's.

1914
The 1914 World Series featured a sweep of the Boston Braves over the Philadelphia A's. Not a whole lot of drama with that World Series. In our simulations however, we had much better drama. In the no injury sim it was the Boston Red Sox, not the Braves that lead the way for most of the season. As well as Boston played the Philadelphia A's were hot on their tails. After the final day of the season both teams were sitting at 101-49. It would be our first tiebreaker challenge. Herb Pennock for Philadelphia and Ernie Shore for Boston were both outstanding from the mound. Rube Ordling who played LF for the A's had a big game with a triple and a round tripper to help power the A's to the 3-1 win. With injuries turned on the drama wasn't anywhere near as good as the A's won the league by 9 games. The Red Sox surely missed a window of opportunity.

1915
In 1915 the Boston Red Sox beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 to tin the World Series. That didn't amount to much in terms of our simulations. In the the injury portion of the sim it was a "Sox" team, just one of a different color. The White Sox were able to hold off a talented Giants club to win the sim. With injuries enabled Chicago almost swept the sim but a surprise Boston Braves team caught, passed and held the White Sox off.
