the 4 P's: PFF, playbook, practice,and offseason

hey so I've been keeping tabs on this every few weeks and I've noticed that the forums have been a little more active recently and some things popped into my head about the game and was wondering if there was any news on these:

Is there going to be something like PFF at all in the game, or other "sabermetrics" of football?

I recall reading a long time ago that there was only going to be one playbook in the first version. Is that still the case?

Are we going to be able to specify what the team works on in practice and training camp and (when head coach) run the practices, or is that going to be abstracted?

Lastly, when making FA acquisitions is money going to be the only thing that matters, or will things like quality of the team, scheme fit, and starting role play parts as well?

Finally, I've noticed that Francis has been around the forums a bit! Glad to see that and wishing you the best as you continue your recovery!

Don't you mean "three P's and an O"?

or do you mean to call it "poffseason"?

These two things are two that I'm wondering about as well. If a practice mode is included, I'd like it to be a bit less monotonous than practice mode when Madden had it a few years ago (essentially just choosing a few plays and running them a few times).

Also, I love the idea of multiple factors fitting in to a free agent acquisition. I wish OOTP had even more of this such as how close the city is to their hometown, etc.

Yea, and this is probably beyond the scope of the first version or two but even have the limitations on padded practices during the season and give coaches the options of using them strategically.

Since it's much more common in the NFL than in MLB for big-name FAs to essentially phone it in after getting their big contracts, maybe include a random modifier that gives the possibility of the FA upon signing their big contract busting or buying in to his new team's plans and getting even better.

And yes, I meant poffseason. Serves me right for typing it on my phone lol.

Yep I like your idea of multiple factors in FA signings. Some sort of PFF rankings would be useful particularly for O-Linemen where you don't have any stats judge upon. Personally I'd love to be able to create our own offensive playbooks but I understand if not everything can be added to the base game. I wonder if the starting playbook will include the read option.

If I can add another P I'd hope to see in the game: Practice Squads.

Practice Squads are now important parts of roster management, whether it be for emergency depth, a 3rd/4th QB, or to keep an eye on a developmental prospect, like a WR from a small college that has catching issues but runs a 4.2
