The Internet Archive is expanding. I've used the wayback machine to retrieve websites that have disappeared like the old BKB World and its pages on bareknucklers that an old forum member had once set up.
If only I could remember my user ID, its been a while since I've spent time visiting this site. bear

A former friend and I used to run a website together. We had a disagreement over the site direction. (He ran the backend, I provided all the content.) So what did he do? Delete the entire site and the backups without warning me. I lost YEARS of writing I'd done.
Thanks to the Wayback Machine I managed to pull together most of what I'd written. So the Wayback Machine is also a great tonic for when some ***hole you think is a friend stabs you in the back. |
