Having a hitter come in as a reliever
I've got Shohei Ohtani in my latest sim and he's not doing well as a starter. I'm thinking of trying to make him into a relief pitcher, but I'm having trouble making that happen. Does anyone have any experience making a hitter (RF) switch to pitching? He's listed in my bullpen, but I can't drag him over to start warming up or put him into the game

You could switch his position from RF to P on the replacement screen and put in a different RF'er (in the pitchers lineup slot). This is easy in the National League without a DH because the pitcher is included in the lineup but I am not sure (without trying it) if it'll work in a DH league like the American League. |

Even with warm ups off, I can’t get him on the mound. I have figured out that I can turn off DH or I can have him start and become a hitter later in the game, but can’t figure out how to get him into the game as a reliever.

In the Pitching Staff screen, there is a drop down in the lower left corner labeled “Allow SP In Relief”. Have you tried that?
