Construction Kit Observations
I am excited to use the new Construction Kit in OOTP21. I tried to make my own models for all the teams in my league using Sketchup and the wonderful tutorials here, but after doing one of them (to "meh" results), I found that I didn't have time to do the rest.
Here is what I have found so far when trying to use the CK to do the job. 1. There is no dome. I think that might be addressed in a future release, but we have 7 teams with retractable roof stadiums, and one with a permanent dome. So, that will be a welcome add-on. 2. Each team has set distances and wall heights. It is nearly impossible to replicate that in the CK. In order to change distances and wall heights, you have to play around with the post positions and heights by guessing how many clicks it will take to move in a fence or raise/lower it...then checking the park factor preview...then trying again and so on. It would be nice if we could just enter the numerical distance and wall height. 3. You can't push out the walls. The default distance down the line is 327 feet. If you want to make it 330 feet, you are out of luck. Other than these pet peeves...which someone has probably already brought up...I am loving it.

IIRC you actually CAN push the walls out, they just disappear behind the stands/berm/cornfield.

I tried it, and the wall didn't move, but either way, it's not usable if you have deeper fences than the defaults.

I love the Construction kit, easily my favorite new feature however yes we definitely need atleast ONE dome, I was shocked a dome wasnt available from the get go. Hopefully we'll get one very soon in a update. And definitely the fences need to be able to be pushed back, hopefully thats another update we get soon in addition to the dome.
