I believe there is a button from the file menu called "check for game updates" which can check if we have released a new version and I believe will prompt you to download.

Otherwise, pay attention on the boards as we will announce updates on here.

I downloaded the final beta installer and whenever I try to start the game I get a "bad image" message that says the file isn't supposed to run on windows.

I'm wondering if the link to the download was messed up?

Otherwise I'm at a loss

Do you know if the public release will install to the normal directory?

It will install to the same folder to which the last beta installed.
