Padres again, though I have a few expansion/fictional games I'll be carrying through from '20.

Last year was really refreshing as for the first time, the Pads had a ton of excellent prospects, and I could deal these guys for guys that better fitted my scheme. It was probably a bit too easy as a result, actually.

The only real issue was that the Padres default financials couldn't support Myers/Hosmer/Machado's big contracts. Dunno if that will be different this year.

Rockies for me this year. They probably need to be torn down and rebuilt.

I might use my Tribe in 2 different seasons...one where I break the bank and keep Lindor. One where I deal him for as many prospects that I can.

I'll start with my Reds again. Man I really hope they don't start $20 mil in hole or something like they did last year.It was so dumb to immediately have to trade Puig/Kemp to be able to afford to do anything. No way in real life that the Reds would have made that trade with the Dodgers if they couldn't afford the payroll.

I’ve never actually done a proper Brewers modern-day game before, so I’m making a point of doing that first I think I normally try other teams because of following the Brewers day-to-day in real life, heh

Red Sox, as per usual. It will be interesting to see how things shake out without Betts. I will probably scrap the team if things start going south and rebuild the farm system. In that scenario, only Bogaerts, Devers and Benintendi are safe.

I feel like I emotionally cannot handle trading him, ha.

Yeah, I did the same and it was not fun at all. I remember I managed to move Kemp fairly early, which helped some.

Dodgers, looking forward to playing with Mookie, and Price. I am going to miss Verdugo, he has turned into a nice player in my 20 franchise.

That's where I always go too... I always think of trying another team but can never bring myself to actually do it lol.

I fancy relocating Tampa Bay to somewhere that would appreciate them. Maybe Cuba, Puerto Rico or New Mexico? See if a real crowd could push them past the “giving up” Red Sox

Montreal is a bit cliched really, I want to take MLB to new territories. Getting attached to the idea of “Havana Rebels”

I always used to roll out the Cubs, and believe me, lots of heartache, but I always enjoyed trying to build the team into something special. However once the Cubs got good, it became a lot less fun for me, and these days I've gone the other direction, taking the Padres, A's, Orioles, and Marlins. This year I'm debating on Kansas City, or doing something I've always wanted to do, go back to the early 70's, and start from there, taking over the Blue Jays in 1977.
