Importing Historical Players

Trying to import historical players into my league but failing every time. Not sure why. I had initial success importing some players, but not enough to support even two teams. I have a database set up using Lahman IDs with years and have thoroughly scrubbed it to ensure accuracy. I have even gone so far as to delete and then re-establish the league and tried to import the players that I had success with initially, but failed there. I have also tried to import single players using the example of Babe Ruth 1927 that is given in the dialogue box from various databases listed in the stats section but also failed. Can anyone help me with this? The Knowledge Base or ticket submission doesn't seem to be up and running. I played OOTP years ago and have bought it again just so I could set up a league like this. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Okay, I figured it out. First, when asked about the database you choose from, select either the Master CSV or the historical.odb. Then, once you are back at the original selection box, type in either the individual player and year or select the CSV database which you should have created that lists all the players and years that you wish to import. Works like a charm!

you can also make a notepad file and import many at a time. see my attachment.
