Do-able Non-Feature Based Suggestions

As Markus indicated near release, MLBM appears to be feature complete, at least until PC games can be fully ported to mobile. In that regard, I still see a few changes that are more cosmetic or use statistics that are already in the game that can hopefully be do-able for MLBM 2019.

1. Champions/Award list: rather than the way World Series champions are listed as is, which is hard to navigate, I think it would be more useful to have champions down as a list by year, perhaps with MVP, And Cy Young listed as well. This cosmetic change would helped be more immersed in the game as I can easily see past winners without going through each year.

2. Championships under awards: The awards tap currently includes things like MVP, ROY, Cy Young and best fielder. But finding championships requires scouring through a player’s history. Simply including championships under the awards tab for each player would be useful.

3. Team history: Currently the only team who’s record and championship history you can see is the one you’re managing. A team history tab for every team with their year by year record and where they finished the playoffs would be very useful.

4. Player Birth Cities: This one doesn’t involve data already in the game like the other 3 suggestions, but I’d imagine wouldn’t be very difficult. Giving every player a birth city would add a layer of immersement to the game, as you may prefer to target a local prospect. I’m not sure how difficult this would be to code, but I’d imagine just having a database of cities and towns for each country then randomly picking one wouldn’t be too hard.

Having played this game for years and each time playing hundreds of seasons, I can promise you more immersement is better for enjoyment and these suggestions would add a layer of it without being too difficult to impliment.
