PCHA is called WCHL in 1917
In the first season of historical mode (1917-18) the Pacific Coast Hockey Association is listed as the Western Canada Hockey League. Although the teams are correct, the league name is not. The league name is correct, however, in the 1917-18 preview message.

Yeah, that's an unavoidable side effect of the way the league is set up - the PCHA and WCHL were two separate leagues, but they also did things like play an interlocking schedule some years where the games counted in each league's standings. There's no simple way to do that in FHM, so it made more sense to set it up as a single league with two "conferences", one representing each league. The WCHL eventually formally absorbed the PCHA, so I used their name for the single-entity league. It just looks a little odd at the start because the real WCHL actually playing yet.
