Contract Glitches / Role Rating Glitches

So I'm trying to renew contracts as GM of the Jets.

I usually start by asking the player what they want, then offer a little lower, the negotiate from there.

I'm having an issue where after this process I click "meet demands" and the correct salary and years show up to meet the demand, then I click "ask for a response" and the player accuses me of low balling him and gets upset. I try again and he gets more upset. I had to trade Tanev to Vancouver because it got to the point he wouldn't resign.

It may have started when I tried to manually lower the salary I was offering instead of using the up and down arrows, but I'm not certain.

Now it sometimes happens on the initial offer even if I don't negotiate at all. Just meet demands and ask for a response.

Ratings glitches. So I'm fiddling with lineups looking to see what role to put players in. I sometimes notice a discrepancy between the ratings on the "options" screen as I'm picking a role and what it shows up as on the actual strategy line-up once I'm done. For example a player may be 4/4 when I'm picking but 5/5 once I've picked a role and looked at the strategy screen. I think Stastny was the one I noticed this in a backchecking role? Can't open the game now so I can't check.

Can you upload the save, with an example of a player it's happening with? Since it's happening inconsistently it'll be tough to track down without a working example.

Instructions for uploading are here.

Posted as "Jets Contract Glitches".

I started another game and had a similar problem. Extended a bunch of players in January. With most I would click "meet demand" then add a year to the contract and they would counter with the original term for less money or the original term and money. I would then meet demand and go from there. When I got to Lowry he countered with the original term and money. When I clicked meet demand he responded as if I was not meeting his demand and offering less. Nothing I could do but back out of negotiations. The save I attached is "Jets Contract Glitches Lowry" and is saved right BEFORE this happens.

You offered Lowry the "Meet Demand" amount/term with an additional year at the same amount? He's accepting when I do that.

That’s what I did. I rarely have a player accept the extra year. They usually counter with the original terms or the original length with slightly less money. Then sometimes as in this case with Lowry and in multiple cases with the other save i’ll Meet the new demand and they’ll respond as if I’m offering less money and get angrier and angrier as I try to meet the demand.
