I usually only play with one minor league level, and generally that is AAA. That said, I am far from an expert on baseball development and still only a few years into playing this game and still learning a lot as I go.
Just curious, if you were only going to have one minor league level which one would it be? Why? |

I think you have it right. Work your way down from most useful to least for the club. AAA is where the “next” generation is at and perfected.
If only one, AAA. If two, then AAA and AA. ETC.

Thanks!
I think as I go I'll add more, but I'm building a fantasy league slowly over the years. Appreciate the reply! |

One minor (no pun) thing to think about is the default player creation modifiers for the league. If you ever do "fill rosters" those players will be created with the league PCMs, and the AAA ones are much higher than the rookie ones (.5 each or some such). Most of those fill players don't seem to make any difference at the majors, but that's one of the only things I can think of that varies if you add it. I don't think development-wise it makes a difference if you have only one level that's AAA or one that's A.
