Brooksie is not in a mission and won't be locked. You can also sort through your sellable cards in the Manage Cards screen if you set up a filter with PT Lock is No. It's Manage Cards, then click Filter, Customize, select the long condition box toward the left, scroll down to Choose, select the PT Info tab, then select PT Lock. Set the line to read PT Lock is No, and it will only show cards that are unlocked and can be sold. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I've been thinking about starting a thread called Missions That Aren't Worth Completing. Numbers one and two would be Immortal Launch Help and Immortal Help. Oh, look! Another Brett Boone or Lance Berkman as reward for spending all those points. Third would be Launch Deck Nolan Ryan, where you can buy the Ryan card for less than what the thoroughly worthless Amos Otis card usually costs.

I wonder how many people bought the "wrong" Amos Otis to complete that mission! I pulled the "right" Amos Otis in one of my first packs, then completed the mission when I saw the "wrong" Amos Otis price.

I started my alternate team as PCK only mode. Registering with Laptophound means no maintenance of friends list. My "strategy" is to sell everything off to raise 100k to buy an historical perfect pack (when available) with a goal of 26 historical perfect cards on the final roster before time runs out. Also, buy these with 170 stars, so I will try weekly perfect draft once a day to reel these in. My first pack gave me Orosco, which I sold back to the market and adding the proceeds to my stash bought two more. Got Cy Young and Santana, which was nice and locked Cy Young for a 25-pack mission and pulled another perfect in that bunch. Sadly, a live perfect.

i will also say: this is advice that's very different at different points in the year. early parts of the year it's definitely not worth doing this. but all these cards are generally pretty close to quick sell value and you can buy em back if you need it, the value from pushing through the missions is far beyond getting stuck because you're out of points

My team is guaranteed to promote to High Gold no matter what happens in today's playoffs. Missions are mostly done with Koufax the only important card not on the roster.

This was the roster that got those two for me. It looked to me like any ordinary perfecto draft roster.

Well now. Day 9 on my latest team, and the pack luck has been amazing. My final four packs from Launch Plus got me Speaker, Utley, Aaron, and another Speaker that sold for almost 200K. Also pulled Gutierrez, Paul Wilson, Lonnie Smith, Lindor, and Magnante (from a Standard pack). Recently sold Lindor and another high-price card in order to grab Josh Gibson for 290K, so I also have Jose Fernandez on the reserve roster. This is a Diamond-level team that's running a 27-game win streak in Iron. Looks like it's High Gold next week. For once, the super promotion won't kill me, although I'd like more top-quality pitching.

I wonder if you will get the promotion bonuses from the levels you skip? Or, will have to collect them via relegation?

You get them in a lump sum.
