Well the last time the NFC South has had 3 teams .500 or better was 2017 so my comment stands.

I agree it sucks. I just don't agree the Panthers being .500 @ this point proves it.

........Hey, I'm as confused as you are. Who are the SB favorites? Two weeks ago I would have said the Eagles & Bills. Now they have 2 game losing streaks......Bucs? Seven NFC teams have a better pt differential....... Colts? With Daniel Jones? Who wants to make that leap?.......Packers? They struggled vs the Browns & Bengals when each was QB'd by Flacco.....

......There has been a power shift among the conferences. Currently 12 of 16 NFC teams are .500 or better. All in the North are above .500. Three in the West are 4-2. Even in the putrid South, only the Saints are below sea level. In contrast, the AFC has 5 teams w/one loss or less. Pittsburgh is the only one in the AFC North to win in the last 3 weeks.........

......The Tua post game comments.......I'm not going to claim to know what is going on in the Dolphins locker room. I do want to address the "keep it in house" reaction around the league.......

....Sure, if you have a problem w/a teammate, you keep it in the locker room. First. You should always approach your teammate privately in just about every situation. If you're not getting thru, you get some other teammates to help back up what you're trying to get across. But if that isn't working, what is the next step? I have no problem airing out dirty laundry if you have tried to handle things like an adult face to face 1st. I have no right to complain about you calling me out if I don't adjust my behavior to the detriment of the team.

I use to tell this to my co-workers....There's 3 ways to do things: The right way, the wrong way & the way that gets results. Everyone thinks the the right way gets results, but it doesn't. Sometimes people react the wrong way when people treat them the right way. So out of frustration, people do it the wrong way. Then people are forced to do the way that gets results. Afterward, they complain about things being done the wrong way. But the wrong way would have never happened if people responded the right way. So they decided to do the way that got results. So if people don't want things done the wrong way, react the right way so that will be the way that gets results.

And that is what I feel about this situation. If the problems Tua talked about had been addressed before, then his press conference is merely the next, probably final, step to get the needed changes.........

......I picked up Stafford & DeVonte Adams last week since they were playing Baltimore. And the Rams scored a measly 17 points. What the bleep, dude? Meanwhile, sat Baker Mayfield because he was playing the Niners & was w/o Goodwin, Evans & Irving. Even more so if I knew Egbuka was going down. And he still outscored Stafford & Adams combined. Lost my 1st game this week. Waived Stafford & Adams this morning. Clowns............

.....Due to tiebreakers, the AFC divisional leaders are the Pats, Steelers, Colts & Chargers. Not only weren't they my 1st choice, they wouldn't have been my 2nd...........

......Chuba Hubbard has been Wally Pipped. Dowdle has started 2 games & is 5th in the NFL in rushing............

......Pats remaining schedule.....Titans, Browns, Falcons, Bucs, Jets, Bengals, Giants, Bills, Ravens, Jets, Dolphins. Just 20 wins among their next 11 opponents & 9 belong to Buffalo & Tampa.............

......MNF made out good getting the Bucs @ Lions next week. Cause the rest of the slate is full of clunkers..........

It's not even half the season. Give it about 4 more weeks to see what teams separate themselves.

Yeah, but the season is kind of like a movie. You can pretty much get an idea where the plot is headed pretty early in the film. You're expecting plot twists along the way. But you know who is the "bad/good" guy driving the story forward. This year, I have no certainty about who are the main characters yet.

If I had to guess right now, I'd say KC VS Detroit. But I'd agree that there are no real standouts thus far.

Unless the trade is "Matt Eberflus to the Texas Department of Revenue for a partial credit on Jerry World's property tax bill", trades aren't going to help very much. As Scooter Magruder was heard to say during his livestream, "TEN Micah Parsons won't help this defense."
