So I got tired of simming and built a table. I don't have the certain apps or whatnots, but I decided to build a table in Google Sheets of all the major leagues and the all-time record holders amongst MAJOR LEAGUE STATS.

I noticed the game doesn't calculate this outside of the leagues themselves. So, I got curious.

This is stats for major leagues from 1922 thru 1997. (I'm finishing 2000 for a 2001 release).

I built this table when I noticed both Bruno Sanchez and Victor Rosa, despite having 800+ steals, were not the Continental League record holders. They had 700 SBs in the Continental League, but both players spent time in India, Cuba, Japan, or Spain. Turns out that Jose Polo's 962 is NOT the all-time record, as it belongs to Guanidhi Nimesh, who would be the MyWorld equivalent to Rickey Henderson I guess... 1000 steals over three major leagues.

Quick update: My World (Working title) for 2001 beta to drive and play around with should be out by the end of the week! I forgot I said I would do 2000---then I simmed thru 2000 sorry guys!

But, it is gonna come with the doc that has the info on the majors teams and all of that.

Hey, thanks for the reply!

I'm doing some intense updating within the game world (i.e. uniforms, parks, data, etc.) in the 2002 season that the release point will be 2004. That way I can strip down a few things for a release. Thinking mid-to-late September as the latest. I say this because I want to make sure some things are done right (minors, rules, etc.).

I let two guys test it out, one being tehsuigi. Pointed out that it would be much easier to Associate the leagues instead of the tourney style that everyone would manually change. Thanks for the encouragement. It should be cleaned up soon.

Quick update:

I am preparing this for a 2004 in world launch. I am currently sitting on September 4, 2003. I just need to clean up the files when the calendar rolls over.

Thanks to Bru noticing broken links, I'll go in and clean up what I can. I took Mega World down from my Google Drive as I hit a capacity level when I started building the MyWorld Databases (that's what I have been doing).

As of now, I am scrubbing some things and have a built database of the entire international world (best-on-best).

Click on the Country Tab. Select the country. Then select the tournament type, or keep it set to all tournaments. It is just a test drive, so images are just being used for holding purposes.

Currently building a dump for historical purposes for the game world.

The newest table/database is MLB-level histories, with some lower tier history added as the game progresses.

The start date for the save is February 15, 2004.

The ETA is most likely within a couple of weeks.

Yep. Also moved around some teams in some leagues while thinking about it. Created a New Zealand league separate from the Oceanic League, moved some Cuban teams. Right now still firming up the database I built while going over the game world, league by league, one by one. I just finished the Major Leagues.

Update: If I still have the 1970 quickstart, I'll re-upload it. I added more cloud space to my Google Drive (I hit the 15GB quota with all my personal projects) so I will be able to host the following:

The 1970 (and 1982 if I have it) quickstarts


I need to put together a Word doc for it, because if you play games you might have to download some stadiums (about 300-400 stadiums are in this mod).
