One player-2 different ratings

Why is the same player rated differently on 2 different teams?

Yes. The Sierra Vista Scorpions have Dennis Eckersley with a rating of 78. The Central Mass Smash have him with a rating of 100. How does that happen?

Is there a data base of all players with their ratings?

There is no database yet unfortunately. Some people are trying to make their own, but so far nothing comprehensive is available.

Aren't the ratings determined by player performance? It doesn't make any sense that a player has more than one rating.

Two different cards based on two different years of the same player.

That make no sense either. A players rating should be based on his total real stats not on some random selection of a year. Another reason not to play this game.

Then stop coming here to complain and just stop playing. Cards can be specific to a year and are based on real stats from that year. What's the problem with that? The rest of us love the variety.

A player should have the same stats regardless of who gets the card. Between this and having to pay to compete I have quit the game.

There's 2 types of cards - some are based on their career (or the top few seasons), like the legend cards. The others are sesson-specific. This is mostly so that there can be some variety, so not every Trout card is a perfect card. In any case, you see the ratings and the year when you get the card so it's not like it's randomly deciding which year to give you.

Stop telling us you're going to quit over and over and just do it FFS. There are multiple cards for the same player that have different ratings because they are different cards. Ted Williams was better in 1946 than he was in 1958. Deal with it or don't.
