Question about historical uniforms in 23

I'm probably making this more complicated than I need to, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to get historical uniforms in 23 when creating a custom (non-historical) save. Specifically, most previous historical uniforms I used didn't have separate pants images, so now my teams have historical tops with modern-day pants.

Is there a way to have historically accurate uniforms for teams (jerseys and pants) while playing a custom save without having to create them?

I should add that the issue I'm having is that I relied on others' historical uniforms in the past, but those files don't include separate images for pants. So, when I use the previous jerseys others created, the players' pants are not historical.

One source for historical uniforms that I like is one from the National Baseball Hall of Fame as it shows the changes to hats, jerseys, and pants over the years. The link is:

http://exhibits.baseballhalloffame.o...troduction.htm

To for example find the uniform of the 1955 Kansas City Athletics, from the link Home Page click on Uniform Database then use the Database Search form such as American League, Kansas City, 1955, Display Uniforms. Click on the 1955 picture for a larger view.

Historical pants do not come with the game nor do shorter pants with colorful stockings like shown for that 1955 team. Until or unless various mods here at the forums come up with more historical pants I think the best you can do for that 1955 team is provide them with one blue stripe on otherwise standard pants.

I know silvam14 is now working on an update of his historical uniforms to include pants. They will be made to fit the current player model with long pants and white shoes.

If you want to try my 1955 pants of all sixteen teams that were made to resemble shorter pants with stockings for black shoes you are welcome to download and unzip a Mediafire file I made. It can be found at the forum/mods.

Folks are currently working on creating the new historical uniform set, including pants. See here:

Got it. I wondered if that was the case. Thank you!
