Jersey number retirement
Is there really no way to retire a number for your franchise? I have a Blackhawks game going and Jonathan Toews just retired with just shy of 1000 games played, and the computer apparently has decided that his number isn't worth retiring. It's ridiculous.
Am I missing something obvious here, or was this really omitted from the game? Seems surprising that it could be considering how long OOTP has had this and how simple of a feature it should be. |

Edit retired numbers is at the bottom-left of the team edit screen.

So I just got home and checked this. Still not seeing anything that gives you the option to edit which numbers are retired. The only things showing on the bottom left of my team edit page is which farm teams I control.
What am I missing here? |

It's a button below that. You may be zoomed in too much and it's obscuring the view or at too small a resolution.

Odd...wasn't jersey retirement supposed to be automatic ?! In all my saves Towes got his jersey retired, even in historical (re)plays when he didn't end up in Chicago. |

No retirements are automatic. Players career curves can vary. And sometimes players will be honored, but not retired.

I'll try to change the resolution when I get home. It doesn't really look like it's off or anything, and I've never had any other features that weren't functional, but hopefully it's just a simple solution like that. I have a hard time believing that I just happen to have a version of the game thats missing a feature.

I ment that AI decides whether to reitre/honor or not, you can't do it manually, or at least not that I know. Due to work I didn't play for quite time

So is this actually the case? Now I'm pretty confused, especially since I still have not seen any way to actually do this.

Are you on Windows? Are you default (or by choice) zoomed into more than 100%?
