Team needs notifications
Is there any way to turn off or at least de-prioritize the assistant GM popping up every two days to ask you if someone on another team fits our team needs?
I just started using the team needs feature and it's greatly improved the usefulness of trade offers I receive, but then I can't autoplay more than like a day at a time in the offseason without the GM asking if literally every top prospect would be someone who fits our needs (and usually not someone the other team would even be interested in trading) Like yeah, buddy... let's just get to spring training already! It would be nice if this were one of the "subscription" options or an option for the asst GM as it is on the scouting screen where you can turn the upcoming reports on/off. |

you can stop those emails from disrupting simulation at the least, i bet. manager's office area...
remove any team need specifications you've set... reset them when you want emails. |

Realistically unless the other team has established a trade with me or I did the shop a player around I have never been able to get a trade worth anything. |

I usually only turn on team needs when I'm actively shopping players because otherwise you get an email every day about an "interesting" player.

Yeah I guess that's the way to go. I took the hint that if I wasn't interested in hearing about these guys I had already looked up that maybe it wasn't that big of a need anymore.
But still wish I could keep a general preference of, hey, I'm looking for young groundball pitchers, or I need an average lefty arm in the bullpen, etc. the offers I was getting with needs set were way more intriguing and fun than if I had no needs set (which is 99% "do you want this absolutely useless 33 year old minor league 3B") Just seems like it should be easy to turn off the simulation-stopping nature of this feature as this would be handy over the course of the offseason. |
