Some days you win. Some you lose.

I've gotten some good players from random packs. THIS...ain't one of 'em.

What else are you going to do but laugh?

Yes it can be very frustrating to see 1000PP go down the drain, however, later on, when you do luck out and pull a star player out of a pack that you idolized as a kid, it will be all worth it!

Saw a Lindor pulled from a Challenge Mode freebie. Somedays you win. Others...no so much. Heck, I'll get what...30 points in the sell-off?

only upside to that pack is, if you're just starting out, Taylor Motter is an awesome bench guy to have, since he has defensive ratings at every position except catcher....

but otherwise....

Hell, I STILL use Motter on my Gold League team. He's still performing admirably. Honestly one of the better utility Bronze cards.

In beta, Motter was my SS. held his own pretty good for me, even up to silver level.

I tend to want a bench player that can play mulitple positions, infield mostly but wont turn down a OF that can play all positions in the outfield. Defense and if they are OF, I want someone that can hit decent (ave/contact/power maybe?) Would rather have a decent batting avg, and try to add another reliever, long relief starter that isnt cutting it starting but can give good innings in Long relief. Can't always do that when the cards aren't giving anything decent, but buying a couple of decent players never hurts.

Yeah, I just had a pack with one 60, 3 in the 40's and 2 in the 50's. That was pretty dull.

Just having a bit of fun, Markus. If I drew diamonds in every pack, there wouldn't be any challenge.

But today is a different day! Snagged Eddie Collins at auction for just 419 points!!! With a wildcard team just 3GB, that's a sweet pickup.

Is that the gold Eddie Collins?

He's been a starter for me since beta. I like him a lot.

As a card... not necessarily as a player. (I'm not THAT old)

Sure is. See another listed right now with a BIN of 3,000. Baaaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha!!! Today is a great day!!!

Also, I'm not old enough to have known Eddie IRL either...but I believe Mossi was still a Tiger when I was born.
